Synopsis

I was very hesitant to watch Silo because I had such a vivid internal vision of this post-apocalyptic world from the books and I didn’t want to ruin it. That being said, I’m halfway through the first season and it’s not at all like the books!
I think there’s a framework, events, and foundation that makes the books so great
But most of the detailed plot is completely new and fleshed out, filling in the gaps of things that were hinted at or left unsaid. I’m glad I still have a different version of the books in my head, and the show is a new, fun version. I have to say they did a PHENOMENAL job with the casting and set design.
A lot of it was exactly as I imagined it
But the differences make the book unique, and I love that. This is probably the first time I’ve been happy that the show isn’t exactly the same as the books, but I still love it. Awesome job!
