Synopsis
On an island of the haves and have-nots, teenager John B asks his three best friends to search for a legendary treasure linked to his father’s disappearance. The cast quiz each other on the best lines from their hit Netflix series. Filming took place in Charleston, South Carolina; it was originally set to be filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina.
I never stopped
Like you, I was hooked on Nexflix and Prime. I watched everything under the sun. This just came out on Netflix and I started watching it.
It’s a fun and enjoyable show
The casting is exceptional…every actor knocks it out of the park. The story moves at a gripping pace towards the end, but in retrospect, each episode could stand on its own…on its own. It’s a remarkable achievement and a credit to the writers.
It’s hard to categorize a genre
It’s rated M, but no nudity or gore. I don’t see any reason why a 13 year old wouldn’t watch it. It’s fun, has lots of little adventures, lots of misadventures, romance, shipwrecks, storms, fires, gunshots, keggers, prison, boys saving girls, girls saving boys, parents being devils, parents being angels, treasure maps…and the show is entertaining throughout.
