Synopsis
A Montana ranching family faces off against other people encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is an expert in the world of rodeo. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and revert to his regular Southern California voice. Featured on WatchMojo: 10 Best Summer TV Shows You’re Under the Radar (2018) Yellowstone is a solidly written drama (great characters, well-constructed) that borrows its tone from several different modern masterpieces. It has the feel and cinematography of Longmire, the plot and grim outlook of The Sopranos, and the dramatic momentum of a show like Dynasty or any other network drama like it. You have to give Costner and Cole Hauser a lot of credit: these guys give it their all. I didn’t expect this show to grab me like it did. It’s worth the time.
