Caddo Lake is a charming story that only fully begins on the “backside”; from the movie. The first hour is slow and rather boring, but the twists and turns in the narrative eventually more than make up for the poor pacing.
I think it will take a second viewing to fully understand how the story ends
Dylan O’Brien is strong here and it’s great to see him back in the lead, but the script didn’t give him much to draw from. Verdict: A slow first half with an interesting story that ends on a strong note.
Give time to film
I recommend this as “easy” #39; movie night.
