Synopsis
Since her little brother Tim drowned in Trieste, Paula has lost the will to live. When he meets the old widower Helmut, who wants to bring his deceased wife’s ashes to South Tyrol, he sees a way out: to go to Trieste and take his own life on Tim’s birthday. But during the trip an unexpected friendship develops with Helmut – and her joy of life is reawakened.
